More than 7 thousand links are still spreading fake news, PTA



Despite the efforts of the PTA, the proliferation of fake news on social media could not be stopped.


PTA has admitted that social media has not stopped the trend of perfect news, more than 7 thousand links are still spreading fake news.

According to the document, more than 15,000 complaints were made to social media platforms against fake news, social media companies blocked only 6,000 links.

According to the PTA document, social media companies rejected 1,315 complaints, and 7,711 links are still accessible which were not blocked were.

According to PTA, more than 684 accounts on Facebook and 5 thousand accounts on Twitter are engaged in spreading fake news, 1200 on other platforms, and 124 on YouTube are not blocked.
