Agreements will be made with various universities under the program
German
company SAP has announced it provides free software and training to Pakistani
students.
Saqib Ahmed, country manager of the German company SAP,
says that the biggest obstacle to digitalization in Pakistan is the lack of IT
experts. To overcome this deficiency, SEP has made training courses and
software free for students of various educational institutions.
Talking to the media in Karachi, Saqib Ahmed said that
human resources are very good in Pakistan. Accustomed to learning very quickly
and working hard. That is why they are hired all over the world and especially
in Arab countries. Due to this, there is a shortage of IT experts in Pakistan.
To eliminate this, educational institutions have been given free access to SAP
training software.
He said that Pakistan is needing unfamiliar trade as of
now. And IT experts can address this shortfall. But for this, policy and
infrastructure have to be improved at the government level.
Saqib Ahmed said that due to the country's difficult
economic conditions, companies are reluctant to invest in Pakistan because they
do not believe that they will be able to transfer their capital and profits
abroad easily.
