Hackers put the data of more than 40 million Twitter users around the world for sale on the dark web.

Nowadays, it is no longer a big deal to have any important organization's website or videos and audio tapes of important personalities leaked or their social media and bank accounts hacked.

Not a month goes by when hackers aren't leaking massive amounts of data from a server onto the dark web. This December, hackers stole the data of over 40 million users of the social networking app Twitter and put it 'for sale' on the dark web.

The hacked data put up for sale by hackers on the dark web includes the mobile numbers and emails of several important figures including India's Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Bollywood actor Salman Khan, Google CEO Sundar Pichai.

Hackers have threatened Twitter management to avoid fines from governments around the world if they buy the data themselves, or they have already offered to sell the data on the dark web.

The hackers who have stolen the data claim that the stolen data is between 2021 and this year.

All foreign media reports have quoted information technology experts as saying that last year there was an error in Twitter's server.

On the other hand, there has been no denial or confirmation in this regard from the Twitter administration.

What is Dark web?

The dark web is a secret part of the internet world where no ordinary internet user can access, this part is not easily accessed by the intelligence of major countries of the world.

It is a market where not only weapons, women and drugs are bought and sold, but also sensitive sex crime information, videos and data are bought and sold.
