The claim of the British expert to run vehicles with baking powder and Airplanes with fertilizer by 2023

Sodium will dominate car batteries, Professor Bill David

A British expert has claimed that by 2030, cars will be powered by baking powder and Airplanes powered by compost.

According to the report of the British broadcasting organization Daily Mail, Professor of Chemistry at Oxford University, Bill David Ka, said that the sodium found in salt, seawater, and baking powder will be used as batteries in cars and everyday gadgets in the future. will excel.

He said that this element is available in the world in a very large amount compared to lithium, while obtaining lithium obtained through mining is becoming difficult with time, it is not the best in terms of performance, so scientists have to Both items will be required. Lithium will still be present in these batteries, but there will be more sodium around it.

Professor Bill David said that by 2030, most of the batteries installed in electric vehicles will be made of lithium and sodium. It would not be surprising if by 2040 sodium batteries outnumber lithium batteries by 10 times or perhaps 100 times, sodium batteries can be made from salt but the baking powder will be preferred.

On the other hand, many companies believe that hydrogen energy is the green future of aviation, but Bill David, professor of organic chemistry at the University of Oxford, believes that baking powder, commonly used in kitchens, can be used for lithium-ion batteries and Hydrogen will diffuse into the fuel.

It should be noted that lithium-ion batteries are currently being considered as an important role in the transition to sustainable energy. These batteries are being used in electrical appliances such as Teslas, iPhones, and cordless drills.

According to the report, aviation companies believe that hydrogen energy is the environmentally friendly future of the sector, while Professor Bill David believes that ammonia found in fertilizers is a sustainable solution to this problem.
