Twitter chief's decision to increase tweets to 10,000 characters
Musk's announcement comes a month after Twitter Blue
users in the US were given access to 4,000 characters.
Its owner, Elon Musk, has said that the number of letters
will go beyond 280 words to 10,000 words to write on it.
The handle Diem Egan tagged Elon Musk and asked,
"Developers, and want to tell you that you can add the code blocks
feature?"
In response to this Musk said that we are moving very
quickly to delete 10 thousand characters.
According to the Indian Times, Elon Musk did not say that
this new feature will only be available to "Blue" users or that the
feature has been made known to users in such situations.
This announcement by Musk has been made a month after giving
access to 4,000 characters to the users of "Twitter Blue" in America.
Last month, the character count was changed for the second
time in Twitter's history.
Earlier in 2017, the microblogging website increased the
character limit from 140 to 280.
According to a report by Forbes, Musk believes that generating
profit from subscriptions is the only way for Twitter to survive financially
for a long time.
However, as of mid-January, Twitter Blue had only around
180,000 subscribers, accounting for 0.2% of its monthly active users.
Keep in mind that since SpaceX CEO Elon Musk bought Twitter,
the platform has seen many changes.
Elon Musk introduced gold and silver badges on Twitter,
along with Twitter Blue for $8, in addition to restoring controversial blocked
accounts to the website.
